Hi Colin, Happy to come and speak on 18 June (on a rare unbooked wednesday!). Is this the introductory talk? We're goping to the LD centre on Saturday 6 September. Show me the money to book places!!!

God Bless

Hi Tom, Life Discovery does look good. Thinking about taking my bike buddy. When in September are you going?

Hi Tom, sorry to take so long getting back to you. Perhaps I'll see you tomorrow at Holmer Green ?
I've been meaning to ask you whether you would come and speak at one of our Alpha evenings (Wed 18th June, 7.30pm ?). We're trying to come up with some slightly alternative titles to the usual talks, so this one could be: 'The church ? - old hats !' That one might need a little work ! Might see you tomorrow.
Hoping to get out for a ride Saturday morning. There's a description of last week's ride on a blog set up by a group of riders from Harpenden that we came across on our travels. The are training for the Etape and one or two events in the UK, so you can find them on 'www.etapevirgins'.

Best wishes,
Colin

Hi Tom...
That life discovery thing sounds amazing!! Is there a lower age limit? If not do you think it would be suitable for young people (say 11-14 year olds)? Also how are you getting there in Sept?

Hi Tom, thanks for getting back to me. Answer is, I'm not sure how long this one would take. It would be a bit of a magical mystery tour as I haven't cycled this area before. Generally speaking we aim to be out between 2 & 3 hours, but if you needed a shorter ride, you could head back early if need be. How does 8th or 15th March look ?
Best wishes,
Colin

Hi Tom, just to say re Saturday cycling, having done a route out towards Denham/Ickenham the other weekend,I am working on a route through Chalfont St Peter, which goes via Pinewood Studios & down to Datchet/Windsor etc.possibly including a loop round Heathrow following B roads ! Looking for a change of scene one Saturday before Easter. Maybe you can join us ?

Best wishes,
Colin

Hi Tom, planning to get out on the bike again Saturday morning, possibly 7.30am start. Any chance we can hook up ? Hoping to do 3 hours or so. I'm assuming you've got a road bike as well as a mountain ?
I've just signed up for the Gran Fondo on 1st June, so I'm going to need to get some serious training in this spring...

Hi Tom, varies a lot, but I guess usually on Saturday in the winter we would be out for 2-3 hours. I normally will try to take in a steady climb somewhere on the route, like Hughenden Valley or Ivinghoe Beacon. About once a month we hook up with the Hemel boys, who start at 9am from outside Hemel station on Saturday, but if we were joining up with you we would probably come over towards Wycombe way. I am just in the process of joining the Hemel club. We are planning to go out this Saturday, if the weather isn't too atrocious !

Best wishes,
Colin

Hi Tom, good to see you this morning. Two things I meant to ask you:
- do you go out for a ride Saturdays? Wondered if there was any chance of hooking up with you - I usually go out with two or three other guys (none of them Christians) pretty much first thing Saturday morning.
- got any sportives or other major rides planned later this year? I haven't as yet & would be interested to hear if you have any suggestions. My one aim for this year so far is to get a sub-25 for a 10 mile time-trial thhis year. Also hoping to go to see the World Championships in Manchester in March.

Best wishes,
Colin
