- I am a youth leader in my church. looking after children between the ages of 11 & 19. The youth group (known as the New Generation Youth Group) was established about 3 years ago and we have about 20 members. We meet every Thursday evening and have a lot of fun. We have arranged a lot of outings in the past such as paintballing, laser tag, ice skating and team awayday.
I work in London as a civil servant, have three children, a parent governor at my son's school and a deacon at the church. So as you can imagine I have a very busy schedule, but the Lord has been good as I have enough time and strength for all the activities we do. My wish would be to twin with another local youth group and participate in some kind of outing or event. Two years ago the youth group went was involved in churches together 5 -a- side footbal in Hemel Hampstead and the children really enjoyed it. So if anyone is interested in paring up with us please do let me know and the leaders would consider it.
