Wink quote

Moved by a quote from Walter Wink's book, 'Interpretation', which appears in the latest BMF Journal. I only wish I had the Journal sooner for preaching on the Transfiguration last Sunday !

Transfiguration: the pivot between Epiphany and Lent
'Transfiguration is living by vision: standing foursquare in the midst of a broken, tortured, oppressed, starving, dehumannized reality, yet seeing the invisible, calling it to come... The beyond shines out in our midst - on the way to the Cross'.

Hi Colin,
Sorry to be so slow to get back to you. I've been a bit snowed under of late & really need to spend some quality time with the family on these days. I did manage to squeeze a ride in back from a NAMs meeting last week though ;-). Please do keep me inthe loop on rides. I assume you're not holding your breath!
God Bless
Tom

Thanks for keeping me in the loop Colin, Yes, I'd love to get out one Saturday before Easter. I'll have a look at some dates and get back to you. How long does that circuit take? I've got absolutely no concept of how long road rides are / take!

I'd definitely be up for a ride on the odd Saturday morning, but definitely can't commit regularly. Where do you go?
