Hi Suzy

I use MAGIX Movie Edit Pro (probably about £50-60). It's one of those 'inbetweenies' - it's not a professional standard, but does allow you to do some good stuff. I use a lap top running XP, which is probably not ideal, but copes. My understandingis that MACs are the preference of choice for video editing.
Other programs - windows has a baic movie maker which is free and surprisingly good. I think the other lower end program that is highly regarded is Adobe Premiere Elements 4. I suspect if I was starting again I might go for this.
What I like about MAGIX is that you can do things like picture in picture/ various zooms which add a nice touch to things. Not sure if the Adobe can do this, but would have thought so.
Hope this helps

Hi Colin...
I am interested in doing some video editing and I was wondering what programme you use to make your worship videos? Is it a good to use? Also what computer is the prog for, PC or Mac?
God Bless,
Suzy

Hello...
Having just come back from doing an assembly I was thinking that there are probably quite a few people here who take assemblies, just wondering about having a space to share ideas on here? Might be an idea to write where the assmebly took place to avoid the inevitable mumblings of 'We've already seen this one!' from the students.

Why thank you. I couldn't get it to do exactly what I wanted but I ran out of time! The front page looks professional which is good. But yeah, I'd never say no to a bit of colour, as long as it's tastefully done!

Ignore the picture (don't click there) - Scroll down the right hand side and you will be presented with some links, one of which says "Download Windows Media (.wmv)". Right click your mouse and you are presented with various options, one of which is 'save target as'. Left Click this and save file wherever you want it to be saved. Go and have a cup of tea, because it will take some time to download as it is a large file.

Why thank you kindly for the comments about my colours! I hope this idea takes off and everyone starts to share thoughts, ideas and stuff that will help us look good in public and in the pulpit!

Christmas Illustration re Simeon

"John Coltraine , the jazz saxophonist, is famous all over the world for his beautiful music. The interesting thing about Jazz is that, more than any other kind of music , every performance is unique. One night, Coltraine performed ‘A Love Supreme’, one of his most famous pieces, and as he played, every last ounce of his skill and musicianship seemed to come together in an absolutely magical performance. Just that one
